Battlefest 2005 took place at Palace Stables, Armagh City, Co Armagh. 'Battlefest' is a unique event in Northern Ireland which brought together historical re-enactors from all across the UK, Ireland and France to recreate over two thousand years of history in the grounds of the beautiful Palace Demesne in Armagh City. The Battle of the Boyne scene was the focus point of the event, and re-enactors set up camp as it was the night before the battle took place. Below are images of the WW1 re-enactments.
